In the near future, electronic devices are likely to become even more indispensable to people due to advances in high-technology and a lack of exposure to nature. Unfortunately, people often disregard the healing effects of nature on the human body. Thus, my proposal aims to emphasize the significance of the connection between people and nature.

One example of a natural remedy that can substitute drugs is natural light. Light therapy has been demonstrated to alleviate numerous ailments and boost mental health. Our brains necessitate the serotonin released by natural light to maintain our natural sleep cycles and overall well-being. The Bay Concourse of Toronto Union Station is an ideal site for this experiment since it receives no sunlight but accommodates an average of 200,000 passengers daily.

Through this experiment, I intend to reignite people's innate longing for natural sunlight and encourage them to pause their electronic devices for a moment to appreciate the interaction between nature and people. Furthermore, I aim to improve the well-being of commuters subtly and promote public transportation use via this experience.
