A hybrid sound system design with an interior surface creates an immersive room that challenges conventional audio design by enhancing the spatial experience of sound. The system includes a vibro-tactile flooring that senses sound waves and translates them into vibrations felt by the user's feet and body. Different sounds generate unique waveform patterns that can be customized to enhance the user's experience. Low-frequency sounds create deep and powerful vibrations throughout the body, while higher-frequency sounds create subtle and nuanced vibrations primarily in the feet. The ceiling mirrors similar waveform patterns as felt under the feet. This hybrid system can be integrated as a virtual reality experience or art installation to allow users to feel sounds and visualize music in 3D, creating an immersive experience that enhances the impact of sound effects.
