
In the film Blindness, Sulei Huang took on the challenge of forensics of “how liminal space created a liminal being” of the main character, known as the Doctor’s wife. By studying the biometrics of proxemics of the Doctor’s wife (the only sighted character in the film). She has created a series of drawings that speaks to identity, the boundary between the self and others. And questions what personal space means during an epidemic or pandemic, forcing us to consider our ideas of personal space.
