Within the scaffolding structure, I have kept the formation of a grid that holds the structural elements needed to support and accentuate each piece. From my collage, I have chosen the four pieces that formed the most exciting relationships: a pair with colour left from the balloon and a pair with a clean, white, concave form. When adding colour to the final structure, I drew the viewer's eye to the concave surface that completes the open form where the original balloon stands. Although they are no longer oriented in their initial placements, I wanted to show that they still display that authentic relationship.
