In collaboration with Yellow Brick House, an organization providing support for women and children escaping domestic abuse, this temporary dwelling offers the opportunity to re-establish what victims have lost. Fleeing from a toxic environment where boundaries and privacy are violated, victims are in need of a place where they can re-establish those values and reconnect with their family that has been torn apart. Occupants have a variety of spaces to reconnect with one another, such as the heart of the home where relatives can sit and share a meal together. A variety of lounge spaces offer the option of a more private setting, or a larger space where many family members can gather and reconnect with one another. The space is flexible, with levels of privacy that can be adjusted from occupant to occupant to best suit their needs.
