My design concept is to create an emotive space that explores the idea of memories surviving death. Located on the historical site of Madonna Del Monte in Venice, Italy, the project uses water as a metaphor for memories, with a glass tower featuring a water tank on top, and three water wheels driven by the water dripping down from the towel. The design aims to prove that memories might not physically survive death, but they will last emotionally. Through the interplay of water, light, and space, visitors are invited to reflect on the fragility and resilience of memories, and to contemplate the nature of our existence beyond the physical realm.
