This project explores the natural material, limestone. I picked a corner in my house which I then 3d modelled in Rhino; carefully incorporating all of the corners' unique materials, textures and even flaws. I chose one material within the space to focus on. I chose the limestone tile flooring as I found it the most intriguing due to its textural and colourful nature. Throughout the semester I gathered information regarding location, extraction, properties, cost and more of this specific material. I also included drawings which help narrate my story on the ontological map and help further explain my findings. This project was very gratifying and helped me look at the smallest details of an interior a little closer and in a new, exciting light.
