This 1:20 hyper-real model of a bedroom in Toronto was photographed to mimic the atmosphere of a hot and sunny space close to a lake. Inside this miniature room, the sun shines brightly on the white furniture, producing an almost blinding look similar to the blinding reflection of light over a body of water. With the bright sun shining on the duvet, one can almost imagine the comforting feeling of lying on bed sheets warmed by the sun. There is also a sense of nostalgia, where the contents inside the room like the cluster of books can remind one of reading at a vacation house by the lake while sunbathing under warm rays of light. The model was additionally altered to recreate the atmosphere of a space in a forest with dappled sunlight.
