In this project, I have designed a pavilion within a fashion retail store that demonstrates the compatibility of the circular economy with beauty and fashion. The 3D pavilion is created using recycled clothes to remind consumers about fashion waste while they shop and educate them about the potential of recycled fabric. The suspended yarns can move with a fan creating a dynamic passage to the space. The yarns can be left loose or tied, tangled up or knit in various formats to change the display. Consumers are encouraged to leave their marks on the pavilion by touching and interacting with the recycled yarns. Up and down lighting are integrated into the pavilion to create a dynamic rain-like light and shadow effect that celebrates the soft and breathable nature of the recycled fabric.
