This project focuses on the idea of colour change brought by light and draws ideas from three inspirations; Nocturne in Black and Gold, The Falling Rocket (1877) by James Abbott McNeill Whistler; Fire Dance by Loie Fuller; The Northern Lights. Through studies done in the initial planning process, the main commonality between these inspirations is the colour change created through light movements. Therefore for the final model, holographic paper in different curvatures placed on a Lazy Susan, encased by mountains with the light sources coming from above was created. Through the turning of the lazy susan, viewers would then be drawn to the lights reflected by the papers along with the space itself.
