This drawing is based on a public bathroom described in What belongs to you by Garth Greenwell. A bathroom that it is hardly ever used for its intended use; instead, it is used for the opportunity it creates. Concealed from the outside, but with no privacy inside. A chilled damp room with several stalls and a line of cracked and stained porcelain sinks with faucets with only cold water. I wanted my drawing to represent the emotions of the narrator throughout the novel as within this interior lays the foundation of the two main character’s rocky relationship.
