This beautiful house of Dimitra and Panagiotis is in a small Northern Greece city. Since they are looking for new changes to their home, we have decided to add longer-term rental units for the University of Western Macedonia students in the city.
Dimitra couple is currently staying on the upper floor; however, they are having difficulty due to their loss of physical mobility, sight, and hearing.
We have decided to move them to the ground floor where they do not need to take the stairs to go to their garden.
Within their interior, we have decided to add textured walls and floors to provide Panagiotis, who is experiencing sight loss, the sense of space that helps him navigate himself better within the house.
We also extended the East exterior wall on the ground floor to provide a larger living area and bring in more natural light.
