Dimitra is 77 years old. She's losing her mobility - its hard for her to walk. But she doesnt want to move. She lives with her husband Panagiotis (85 years old) in the hose that they built over two decades. Using Dimitra's existing, two-family polykatokia, as a starting point, this proposal brings the neglected garden to life with native, medicinal plants, and integrates a small pharmacy, doctor’s office and caretaker bedroom into the property, while keeping Dimitra and Panagiotis on the second floor in the space that they’ve called home for over 25 years.
