Sightlines are an essential consideration in many fields of design, especially architecture and interior design. As designers, we manipulate sightlines to create views from the habitants' perspectives, guiding their eyes and emphasizing certain viewpoints. This case study analyzes the Courtyard House by Studio Junction. In the model, I captured the view from the kitchen counter, looking towards the courtyard. This view would typically be a parent watching their kids play. This interactive model allows people to visually transport themselves into this specific view, despite their location in the world. It's an analog VR, an unplugged Metaverse.
